Our Services Explained
We work closely with our patients during preconception, and pregnancy and provide postpartum care to make sure they get high-quality and phenomenal care during the most important time of their life. Following Obstetric services are offered at our facility.
Prenatal Screening and Counselling
You and your partner might be interested in the health of your developing baby. Prenatal screening helps couples to know about the health of their fetus. Risks of birth defects and genetic conditions are explained through proper counseling. Diagnostic tests help in determining the specific health condition of a baby. Where needed we may need to refer to a fetomaternal specialist for specialised screening
Postpartum care
Emotional support is very important for new mothers. In postpartum care, we also perform physical check-ups to prevent any complications early on.
Birthing (Caesarean section and normal vaginal delivery)
Dr. Tshiamo Nakanyane uses state-of-the-art facilities and makes your Caesarean section as smooth as possible. Caesarean section is the surgical procedure to deliver a baby by making an incision in the abdomen and uterus. On the contrary, vaginal delivery is a natural process that doesn’t involve significant surgical intervention. We consider the best option for you by keeping in mind all the complications and risks by proper evaluation of your condition.
Antenatal screening and Care
Antenatal screening includes check-ups, tests and scans during pregnancy. This is important for the health of both mother and baby. We perform antenatal screening to have regular monitoring during pregnancy to prevent life-threatening emergencies.
Postpartum contraceptives
For postnatal care postpartum contraception is mandatory. Pregnancy in the first 12 months after giving birth holds the greatest risk for both mother and the baby. This prevents closely.
